Thread: How to remove woodruff key

    I feel dumb for asking this, but i gotta. I removed this key before, but cannot remember how i did it. Can anybody help out

    I used a good pair of diagonal cutters (dikes) to get a bite on it and leverage it out when I did my rebuild a few years back. About to do it again I hope.

    A very strong magnet may get it.

    Post some info on the kit you are using and pics of the rebuild.. I to see g60 rebuilds being done at home.

    get a vice scripts and tighten it on at the front of the key but parallel to, then lever it down it will hit the end of the shaft and pop up the front of the key
