    Where did you stay? Hotels are super expensive... $200+ a night range. Anything on the reasonable side?

    The hotels around the airport is fine. I'm guessing the further from downtown, the cheaper the rates.

    I took the hotel's shuttle bus to and from the airport and took the express bus to the downtown area.

    when you think about it, why would you want to skimp to save maybe $50 a night? If you are going to Canada to watch a race might as well go out a bit and enjoy yourself.

    Been there the past 5 years in a row and going again this year. Spend the extra money and get a hotel that is the the Montreal Metro (subway) area. Get to Montreal on Friday and purchase the weekend Metro pass $15 and you have unlimited rides on the Metro all weekend. Its perfect to get around town and to the track.
