Need B5 passat front bumper advice

This is my first time posting in here so hopefully I wont make too big a fool of myself.
So at the end of the summer I put on my FMIC. As you can see it didn't fit all that well and I had to cut slits in the bottom plastic. I was wondering if any one had any suggestions on what I could do to make this look better. I have some photos that I have been trying to splice together in paint to see what looks good, but so far I am failing. So have at if you want, otherwise words work too.
