    00' A4 w/ 77k, 1/8T, tiptronic trans. Jaspis Green with Tan/Brown interior. [sarcasm] What a combo! [/sarcasm]

The only issues are, the timing belt/wp need done, 1 headlight is out, and the po pulled the bumper off once backing over a parking divider.. The headlight washers don't work and the cluster has lines across it.

any big plans for it? That steering wheel is pretty cool, controls the volume on the radio right?

The color combo is starting to grow on me.. The interior still needs cleaned, but I just wish the seats weren't tan.

I thought the same thing when I first drove it.. on my way home from picking it up is when I figured out that they are for the gearbox.

Completely serious. I have the original window sticker for it. I guess that was an option to have buttons on the wheel.

Nice. I'm looking for an Avant for my winter car. I have an Auto as well. Dont hate on the buttons they do come in handy sometimes. plus if you slide the buttons off exposing the LEDs people think your hot **** XD

Nice find tho. I think every auto-tiptronic a4 '00 or '01 came with the buttons. Standard feature I think. Kinda like how we have the Audi sport badge on the wheel and the little red flag on the back 1.8T emblem.

They come off? I just have the badge on the wheel, nothing on the back. I took the badges off today anyway. Ordering the timing kit tomorrow.

I'm doing mine this Friday I hope. I always thought they needed done at 75k like my other VW's.. I really can't afford to snap a belt. While I'm in there, I'm going to change the oil, coils, plugs, wires, fuel filter, cabin filter, and the air filter.

Yeah they "slide" off.. umm basically with the car off is the easiest however I dick around with it in traffic and driving along...i found out you can take them off by pushing down the (-) as if your going to downshift and pull the (+) outward. Its pretty straight forward I took them out for cleaning lol im debating on cutting the (+)&(-) outlines out of the button to let the red LEDS shine through.

Where can we get badges for the steering wheel? all of the red paint flaked off on my sport badge. btw RS4/R8 steering wheel we can get for our cars. replica and real($1100)

When I test drove mine I kept hitting the buttons and said "Are these not hooked up? The audio isn't going up" and the dealer knocked off a couple bucks for it.

I took them off today, just to see what it looked like underneath. I to now want to cut the +/- out, but I would want to fill them back up with something clear to prevent snagging or cutting of fingers.

I'd imagine that you can't just walk into the dealership and ask for the steering wheel emblem. You could paint it or just buy another wheel..

That color with coils, 18s S4 lowers and bumper would be something else.... Pitty it's the slushy semi two pedal version though. Serious potential. Best of luck with it

    Actually you can 4A0419685B

    The S4 one is 8A0419685B

List is about 20 Euro, which could be up to $60. Sure you can get knock-offs on ebay though.
