NC - Wookiee's in the Woods (and Ewoks) Caravan Thread

For all those in NC who are attending Wookiees in the Woods, Jausley and i are caravanning over to Fontana Dam on Friday 4/20 and would welcome anyone else who wants to join the procession.

Here is the tentative plan. We can meet up with others any where along this route.
April 20
8:30 AM - 9 AM Assemble at Graham, NC
9 AM - Get on the road towards Asheville
12:30 to 1 PM Congregate at 12 Bones for Lunch (5 Riverside Drive Asheville NC, 28801)
~1 to 2:00 PM Lunch
2:30 PM Get on the road towards Fontana Village

I've got a few high range walkie talkies, and would encourage others to bring them as well.

This is the tentative plan for those interested. Leave Graham around 9am Friday 4/20 and get to Asheville in time for a 12:30-1pm lunch. Then on to Fontana Dam. More details to follow as I've confirmed them.

We're meeting at my work. The name of the business is Ausley's Chevelle Parts. Here are some details:

Address:

300 S. Main St.
Graham, NC 27253

ARRIVING FROM RALEIGH, you will get off of I-85/40 on exit 147 and head north towards Graham (that's a right turn ). You will pass McDonald's on your right and CVS/Walgreens farther up. We're less than one mile from the interstate on the right on the corner of Main St. and McAden St.

We're right across from a Shell station, so that would be a great place to get supplies and fuel up. There's also a Biscuitville less than a block away (you passed it on the way) if you want to wait and great breakfast there.

We'll probably congregate in the front parking lot of the store. Be cautious of the driveway entrace - it's a steep lip, and you will drag if you do not enter at an angle (especially important if your car is lowered). It's not a huge parking lot but there should be room for 5-6 cars. If we need more space we can congregate at the Shell station across the street.

My travel buddy and I are really looking forward to Friday and meeting all of you!

So there happens to be a brewery in Sylva, NC that produces German-style beer... and judging by the map (we literally drive right through, Exit 83 off of 23/74 and less than 1 mile from the exit) and the fact that the Fontana Lodge is in a dry county... Perhaps we could consider a brief pit stop around that area to pick up a growler or two?
