Selling my 2004 Tornado Red R32. I'm located in the Twin Cities, MN. I have owned the car since 75k miles. I drive the car daily for my job, and under my ownership 75% of the miles have been all highway. Car has a clean title, accident free, and drives like a champ. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about the vehicle.

Price:
$9,500 with all extra parts.

Currently the miles are 148k, and will continue to rise. Interior is in excellent condition. Leather seats/bolster are in great shape!

-75k- Front wheel bearings

-New windsheild with one very small rock chip
-Oil changed religiously every 4k - Full Synthetic
-I have receipts for other minor work done

What needs attention. Keep in mind that I want to be as clear as possible about every known imperfection:
-Airbag light is on (passenger seatbelt assembly)
-Passenger sun visor ripped off from abuse by people who don't know how to work the seat in an R
-Glove box latch broke
-Hatch lock broke
-Cruise control stopped working, fuse was replaced
-There's a subtle high pitched whining noise when radio is on
-Front fenders have a small amount of paint chipped from rubbing
-Euro R bumper has a nice sized crack under the center grill
-Fairly deep door ding on driver door
-The paint is not in the best shape. It has the dreadful clear coat peeling, which is becoming worse. Also, there are a few knicks/scrapes here and there.

-NEW OEM clutch assembly, including: clutch disc/pressure plate/flywheel/TOB/rear main seal

Never seen this R, where in the twin cities are you from/do you work? for some serious maintenance on it!


IMO great price for an R with new brakes, raxles, coilovers, and all the suspension bushings/mounts.

NOT TO MENTION A NEW OEM CLUTCH?!


Let me see where I placed that 13g...

EDIT: One thing I would change if I bought, or owned the car... try to keep the tires the same for front and rear. Maybe you did your homework and all is set, but different tires means different wear rates, and on a haldex awd car, tire diameters need to stay within 4% otherwise your awd is in jeopardy.

I live in Bloomington, and my company is located in St. Paul, but I drive to various grocery chains across the metro. As for the difference in tires on the MT1's, my plan was to put neogen's on all four corners this upcoming season. Needless to say, it has been researched properly, and there is no affect on the Haldex.

It's not vehicle specific, but any VW model that has Tornado Red will most likely have some sort of clear coat issue in the car's lifetime.

Volkswagen still won't justify it to be a factory paint failure. I have made several attempts at trying to get it done with no success, but I believe persistence will pay off

Car drive's like a TOP now that all the suspension work is completed. It's safe to say that I fell in love with it all over again, definitely going to be hard to hand the keys off now -.-
