Sounds a little high, have you looked up the value online? I paid 14k for a 2007 A4 w/o S-Line, it had 50k on it. This was in VA though, I'm sure the market is different everywhere. I looked at a lot of cars when I was shopping for an B7 A4 and in 2011 20+ would be at the high end of A4 market.

just as an FYI, I also just bought a 2007 a4 S-line in VA for 16900. Car has 58k on it...shop around a bit or have them lower their price

they are really fun and have more features than my 325xi and C230 Mercedes sport. I really love my Audi and S-Line and cannot believe the price i bought it for. I would suggest you shop a bit and compare but you will find that the Audi provides a better ride comfort and it is really fun too.

I don't think that's a true S-Line package. All 2008 A4's have the S-line grill and front bumper, but that car doesn't have the S-line badges on the rear door rubstrips. Just a heads up. Without seeing the inside, I'd say it's not.

A little high bit cheaper than what I want to sell mine for

If I recall, they stopped putting the door badges on the S-Line in 2008. I could be wrong though.

This does appear to be a fairly fully loaded S-Line Titanium though. Has convenience package. Can't tell if cold-weather or not. I'm a little confused as it has all signs of a titanium package apart from having chrome window surrounds though.

    08' Audi A4 S-Line

Id say yes but chew them down in price a bit. Talk with a buddy infront of salesman about another car your thinking of...it starts to make them really want to pull you in. say what can you do on the price for me. then offer a few hundred less than he said and say we have a deal? And if they say no, just start to leave. They will change their mind. If not, and you really want it, you can always come back another day and get it.

I just purchased an 08' true S-line A4 today, which has the rear door badges and sport tuned suspension, 18" wheels, 44k miles, Audi certified, black on black, went from 20,750 down to 19,900. Car is in pristine condition, came in off a lease as well. Not a scratch. Wish i had the convenience package just for the rear view mirror dimming and passenger mirror tilt in reverse, all things my jetta vr6 glx had, but oh well. Just the word Audi is enough to forget about convenience...

leak and compression test on those engine. Also ask for a manager, not a sales man, they talk too much

Ask the dealer invoice, if they dont give it to you. Usually they are ripping you off of that price they are asking you.

Walk away if you do not like the deal. Make sure to let them know that they are losing money, not you losing an opportunity to get a car.

    Good luck.

Not a true S-Line Titanium because of the chrome window surrounds. Titanium edition would also have full black interior, including black headliner and piano black trim.

Looks like someone fitted the Ti edtion grill and wheels to a regular 2008 A4 Special Edition, commonly called 'fake S-line"

But, to answer your orginal question, I would have them move down on that price.

Regarding the price, I paid under $23k for the same car (not Titanium, not "true" s-line with 29k mi a year ago. This was Audi Certified Pre-Owned though.

Compression and leak test DEFINITELY. I'm having my rings replaced under factory warranty because it was burning oil at a rate of 2.7qt/5k mi. They did the consumption test and it failed. The instantly recommended replacing the rings/gaskets under warranty. I have no arguments as I'm tooling around in a 2012 A4 while they fix her

I'm considering selling after taking it to the shop 6 times in a year. Not to mention, I've barely put 5k miles on it.

Its def not a titanium edition. Weather or not is a "true" s-line is debatable. Looks lower than the factory sports suspension to me. 21,900 might be a bit high but I don't really think its that bad especially if its super clean inside and out and is certified by Audi.
