Nice meeting you as well Paul, hope to see the rabbit again soon

Some updates will happen tonight finally, plan is install the coils and drop plates if the bolts are still good, may have to wait on new ones from terry, or just flip the axle

Ordered tires this morning, going with 165/50 since its kind of my daily for now

totally fogot i had a build thread, finally got around to uploading some pics of my progress over the last few months

turbo installed and running great...still need to make a better oil return line and some sort of intake along with moving the fuel filter

    turbo 1
    turbo 2
    turbo 3
    turbo 4

next up was the down pipe i attempted to make myself...worked okay to get it to a show but the fitment wasnt good and it rattled like crazy and sat very low

    dp attempt 1
    dp attempt 2

    then this finally showed up

    tt dp

also made this along the way which i know most of you will hate...someday ill put a real exhaust back on it

    stack 1
    stack 2
    keg

and finally doing some real work, found a decent hole along the rocker and decided to fix it...doesnt look good but its under carpet and is solid

    rust 1
    patching 1
    patching 2

random one from a while ago...still wanna get the rear lower and get some different wheels

    drive way 1

looks to be all on the rockers.....Weld and use a spray can of matching paint up to the trim line. White hides a lot, so it wont be to bad.

Oh yeah and now you have one more hole to weld up in the bed....Someone took a wrong turn with that exhaust.

  27. 10-05-2012 02:40 PM #62
agreed with above. you've already started welding new metal in floor. might as well finish the rest. off-white spray bomb looks a lot better than a caddy rotting away.
