This season has been one for the record books. I'm generally in the backcountry a few times a week and my decision making has been as conservative as possible. Finding low angle stuff rather than gnar.
These guys found the gnar and got burned.

Wow this is so heavy. I cant imagine just standing there. Friggin ridiculous. I would have ran perpendicular to it rather than straight down the hill LOL.

Not necessarily new to the BC, but bought a split this year so have been playing there more than ever. It seems like everyone's having issues with snow-pack this year and more than a few people have gotten bit because of it. Those two crews definitely had horse shoes up their posteriors.
