Mansory is certainly not about subtlety. I kind of like their Aston...

I love cars, but the problem is they are like schroedinger's hobby. They're always in a quantum superstate of being both awesome and a huge waste of time and money... until observation momentarily forces them into one state or another.

I don't mind the unpainted carbon fiber but all of the gold has to go. Gross.

For thousands of years, gold has been the trim of choice for wealthy people's posessions, from Egyptian kings to modern Sheiks. it's been trim on glassware, furniture, artwork, fine jewelry, etc. I find it real interesting that after all these thousands of years, a few poor people can't understand gold trim on an expensive item... And that only very recently has it become considered tacky and "cheap" to the average person (and really only to the average car guy). It's not like the Veyron isn't an outrageous display of wealth to start with...

I wonder what made them say "Hey, let's leave these covers silver"

How can I start a company where I do stupid **** to stupidly expensive cars? Doesn't look like it takes much creativity.

I love that Although I adore this interior over the one above. Just one thing I don't like is that they took the Land Rover branded steering wheel airbag cover off and put their own on. I don't really care for the look it has given the whole dashboard. Looks odd. Otherwise I'd give it an A+

Gold is too cheap. Needs to be in Platinum. No, Diamond. Needs to be made from one piece Diamonds.

I don't think a Veyron is tasteful to begin with so this is perfectly ok. In my view a Veyron is a statement car that screams I'm filthy stinking rich and want to show off my wealth with one of the most powerful cars and more horsepower than I will ever use.
