Are there any meaningful pictures of how to install the optional heat sheild? Search not helpful, it's turning up for sale threads... TIA.

I saw a pic somewhere. I can't honestly recall. Install is simple though. 2 screws on the left and 1 on the right. The 2 on the left are already on the engine. You'll need to remove them and re-install. The right one is provided. The center cover mount bolt will have to be removed in order for it to fit. Also, on the back right, there is a coolant hose that runs through the cover. You'll have to either remove the hose and reinstall or cut the hole out so it can pass through. I opted to cut the metal as it's much easier to install/remove.

I just installed this intake. It was relatively straight forward to install but EVOM should include instructions. The biggest pain in the ass was trying to get the VW parts off and trying to work in a tight engine compartment. Does anyone know what the clamp is for that is on the intake tube as it exits the filter box? I do not see anything that this can attach to but in pictures people have installed it there.

Here are the instructions for the MKV V-flow, pretty much the same except for the diverter valve tube isn't there.

Shipping is expensive to NH Like almost $40. Give me a call and or shoot me a PM and I can probably help you out with that cost.
