I decided to fix my battery terminals since they were getting loose and corroded. I got a new terminal for each side and installed them. While at it I ran a secondary ground to the block with thick 4 or 3 gauge wire.

I had some left over wire about 10 gauge and ran that from the area near the left side injectors and right side injectors as well as the area that the coil packs connect to on each side (each spark plug has an individual coil pack).

Do you think it was overkill to ground the coil area / injector area? If your wondering my intent, both the injectors and coil pack are electrical, actually draw a good amount of current. I have 6 coil packs and 6 injectors it only makes sense. The car also has 156xxx miles on it, stock wiring has to be getting pretty tired by now.

I've noticed a quicker start, smoother shifts and a smoother idle. It also rests to idle after starting, faster. It was warm today, I'll have to wait till a real cold day to see how much of an improvement it has made.

Car BTW is my 97 Acura TL, 3.2 v6.
Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.

I don't think the ground was over kill. I have 1/0 gauge ground run to my engine block. And will be adding a 2nd run of 1/0 gauge power this spring/summer.

All I can say for adding the other grounds is. You don't want to many grounds because I have heard you will get an effect called "ground loopage"
