How's it going all? New to the forum, figured I'd introduce myself prior to just showing up at one of the meets lol. Just bought '02 GTI 1.8t, new to modern Veedubbin, only ever owned air cooled up until now lol.

Anyways looking forward to dropping by one of these meets!

Went to the gtg Friday night and got to meet a nice handful of people, sorry I couldn't make it out Sunday, my schedule got a little intense lol. Joys of working two jobs and going to school full time I guess. Anyways, I don't anticipate such a hang up occurring this next Sunday, if all goes well I'll be out there

Since ur new you will hear this alot. I wanted to say it first, LOWER ITand since its a mk4 u will have to buy lots of stickers to be cool
definitely a bike/snowboard rack you will never use, uber euro lic plate, joey mod the headlamps, and change the wheels out 4 times a year so you will never have to buy tires till you are stuck with 4 spare tires/steelies in the end

TBH I already planned on lowering it, however that might be a long time from now, because my intentions are to bag it lol. Similar to the 66 I owned (I'll get some more pics loaded of it) Plus I'd rather go with performance mods before going with visual mods. The plan is to start with chip, DP, IC, exhaust, then water meth. After those mods, I'll start mod'ing it visually with ride height (bags), rims, spoiler, head light and tail light mods. Although I will be tinting it soon, that doesnt count for visual mods lol![]()

Veedubin like a pancake lol
keep in mind this bag job was before air kewld came out with a bolt on kit for classic vdubs, and prior to silent hot air compressors with the capabilities of lifting air shocks, hence why there's a CO2 tank in the rear lol. All white leather and red stitch interior, billet, and diamond plating. 10 relay switch board with 4 independent solenoids for the suspension, bags in the rear, air shocks in the front, and copper drag rails for laying pan on the freeway lol (6ft green rooster tails at 55mph, pretty freaking cool). Full plexi-glass compression box with 2 10" JL audios, 4 6" kickers, 2 JL tweeters, and 1500 watt amp. 1845cc motor with MSD ignition, performance cam, external oil cooler, aftermarket oil filter housing, and highway flyer gears in trans.
And before anyone asks... sadly I no longer have this vehicle, it was stolen back in 2006 when I was still living in Las Vegas...![]()
