Hey guys, hopefully i'll be a new (or used) s4 owner next week and I'm at a loss of what exactly to put on the car. Ive owned my fare share of VW's. for my nice ones i always went in the direction of H&R ultra lows, and my dailys, I've enjoyed FK street lines, or race lands. But I already know i need something a little bit more quality on this car, any suggestions? i was looking at FK sliverlines, decently priced and i'm assuming a quality coil over. Also any examples on a good daily height, looking under the B5 its a lot different then my older VW's, I don't plan to drag this thing around town like i have with my other cars, but i do want a decent height.
Next up is the ABS module. my step dad informs me it is bad and will need replacement ($1000 range) or can be repaired in the $200 range by places you send it out to, any one know a solid place to send it to. id rather not send out a $1000 part and never get it back even if its broken.

module masters can rebuild them, but your better off just picking up a working one used. I bought one for 30 bucks last month. They're out there, just have to do some searching. I'm sure the 3 loud beeps on start up will drive you crazy soon enough along with the flashing abs and brake lights

I'm happy with my ST coils. They're essentially a KW V1, but instead of stainless steel, it's galvanized. I used an anti-corrosion spray on them so it makes no difference, other than price...

$55 to fix (used to be $40 a few weeks ago)

I found a couple vw/audi s4 posts that used these people over module masters. I can't vouch for them, but I do have an ABS module I'll eventually send in for repair since it's the cheapest alternative I've found.
