Didn't find anything with search, so have at it. Let's see some cool and unusual police cars.

i still think its so cool that there's a Gallardo police car.

Not that uncommon, but still noteworthy.

Yes, that's a Hayabusa. Oklahoma Highway patrol apparently has a couple they use for patrol.

The perks of having a Mercedes plant in town, tuscaloosa county sheriffs and tuscaloosa PD each have a few Mercedes vehicles. Tuscaloosa PD also has a mid-2000's corolla and late-90's dodge caravan

Portland has a number of Ford mustangs and the Oregon state police have a couple dub edition 300's

blacked out chargers around here. look pretty intimidating.

Tuscaloosa PD also has this, the design was part of a local public school art/design contest, it has Lambo doors:

The Alabama state troopers and several local PD's have switched to dark chargers, I agree they look intimidating as police cars

Apparently some of the police departments around here have some interesting undercover vehicles.

(Supposedly) One has an old beater mini-van and one has a lightly modified (wheels, exhaust etc.) Hemi Charger

Other than that typical stuff; Crown Vics, Chargers (look pretty intimidating), Tahoes, Explorers, etc

The most interesting cars are the cars seized by police and used for parades, shows, and community relations with a "seized from a drug dealer" or something like that.
The coolest ones I think are the highway pursuit cars which at times are a little faster then the city patrol cars.
A few RCMP Jaguars, a donated Audi A-6 behind it. These were a while ago.

RCMP Volvo S70 T-5 in Quebec. Manitoba had some as well. I remember doing highway speeds when one blew past me at incredible speeds.

And of course, Aspen Colorado's famous Saab police cars originating when AWD or even FWD was not quite as common.

A lot of the cars posted are not unusual but come from other countries, where they're quite normal.

No, they didn't. They got two of them donated by Lamborghinin back in 2004, and those cars stuck around for over a hundred thousand miles each. In 2008, they got two more from Lamborghini. In 2009, a car swerved into one of the older ones causing it to hit a row of parked cars, totalling it. So, one out of the 4 total gallardos that Lamborghini donated to the police force got totalled by someone else a YEAR after the last one was delivered.

Youre referring to the hoax email that's been circulating again.
I love cars, but the problem is they are like schroedinger's hobby. They're always in a quantum superstate of being both awesome and a huge waste of time and money... until observation momentarily forces them into one state or another.

About 15 years ago there was a 5.0 Mustang that looked heavily modified, it had writing on the side that said something like "seized by a drug dealer."

I am thinking it said "seized from a drug dealer" and not "seized by a drug dealer", unless that dealer really wanted people to know he was in the area.
