"You've seen it, you've heard it, and you're still asking questions?!?"
"Yeah, when do we go for a ride!?!?"

Haven't read the thread so I don't know if these have been mentioned.
Northern VA still runs a lot of vics, but I've seen a handful of chargers and a few mustangs. I know somewhere around here there are some passats, can't remember the city. Also, I heard somewhere that Texas has vipers.

Anyone used to watch the show "Speeders" on TruTV? One of the officers used to drive around in a yellow Hummer H2.
Traffic enforcement, not real police officers drive those. All they do is drive around at 10mph giving tickets, might as well have something with good fuel economy. The Dept of Sanitation has those too, along with NYC Parts Department, DEP vehicles, etc.
And these
There's also Chevy Volts driving around. Did a double-take the first time I saw it and I've never seen a private one in person.
And of course the usual Crown Vics, Fusions, Explorers, Expeditions, F150's, E150's, Impalas, Suburbans, Chargers, Altimas, etc.

Medford, MA used to have a formerly drug-dealer-owned C4 Corvette all done up with D.A.R.E. livery, and lighting.
Rumor was they parked it across the street from the jail the day he was released...

Mustang GTs are common but we have a couple that have been tuned by these guys:

I'll need to take some pics from Hawaii. Very few crown vics. Only the noobs use them
After a few years, police officers get a car of their chice that meet some general criteria, and get a maintenance budget, etc. They say it's cheaper than having a large car fleet...?
Lots of Mustangs, Chargers, a Challenger, Infiniti (mostly older G35), Accord, and a variety of SUVs (Pathfinders, Xterra, Pilot, Highlander).
They receive a large blue top-light that is always illuminated, then hidden light bars in the grill and inside in the windshield and back window.
