Was there a downpipe bracket/mount made?

Pretty sure - at minimum - all TD's and all Mk2 NA had them.

got word the dual outlets on earlier (mk1) cars had them but the toilet bowl single outlet didn't get a bracket so guess my old car had a dual outlet in place of the oj single

I got a DP w/ bracket if you're interested. From 1.6 TD.

All Mk1 and Mk2 TD's came like this from Faktry, despite any words you heard.
And seem to remember most Mk2 NA's were same way Faktry - less 1 of the shields.

Doesn't mean this is what you want to have/buy.

Head Pipe to the toilet bowl - on an NA application.

NA Diesels have exhaust manifolds and headpipes.
TD has exhaust manifold - DPipe - headpipe
