So I'm kind of baffled by the fact that you can buy a honda or toyota that streams music through bluetooth, yet a new Audi S4 will not?!?!
Has anyone see of any VAG COM upgrades or work-arounds to enable this? I'd love to stream pandora through my cell...

There is - you need a iPhone tho cause it's only Apple compatible, unless you buy the media kit - which is an absolute rip off and you don't get good sound quality (I've heard). It would be nice to just stream through bluetooth... but yeah - that is an option I gues...

Just buy a bluetooth to aux that supports a2dp. For instance,

It is tiny and the sound quality is excellent.

Yeah that is not a bad idea.
But I can just plug an iphone directly into the car and stream pandora that way...

Some other options for the pre-2013 S4:
Plug and Play cable/receiver options for NAV and Non-Nav Cars - http://a2dp4audi.netmagi.com/
The Tune2Air for unmodified AMI cables, works with Android and iOS - http://www.amazon.com/ViseeO-WMA1000.../dp/B00B52LLJ6
And yes, the Tune2Air works with Android: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...light=tune2air
Obviously for facelift cars (2013+), Audi has addressed this feature gap at the factory so no mods or additional parts are needed.
