looking to upgrade my turbo for my 20th with my tax money, its between the K04 and the Frankenturbo. ive been looking into both of the them and im starting to like the Frankenturbo F4 kit. it seems like the best buy for the money.

if anyone has had issues with this set up or recommend something else that will be awesome.

I always wanted to see someone do a build thread with this kit...

OP: I would say the FT is a good choice.

Just a KO4 doesn't seem worth the hassle. But the FT4 with injectors, manifold, DP and remap will put you around 260hp to the wheel for only a bit more money.

Transversal - front of engine points to the passenger fender (like your engine)

Longitudinal - front of engine points to front of car

Same turbo, but for two different applications.

Unitronic just put a vidoe on facebook with there stage 2+ map of a dyno fun where at 1.8t puts down 264whp and 304 tourqe. And that was running a ko4 tubo

Frankenturbo all the way. i love mine.

still running APR Stg 2 tune till my tax return money comes in, then going Uni Stg 2+ 440cc tune. Promising numbers and still safe EGT's and boost levels.

The Uni tune wants you to run 440cc injectors with the stock 3bar fpr. Doug from Frankenturbo recommends the Green Giant 440cc injectors as that is what the tune was created with/for. Running a 380cc at 4bar has been done but doesnt net as high of results and made the EGT's higher iirc. So stick with the 440cc like Frankenturbo and Uni want
