That dash is hella ugly. It looks like a mix of Hyundai/Kia's recent works with a little bit of Civic/Leon mixed in. I hope that the source is wrong... if not, it's just another example of how the even gen cars have it, and the odd gen cars don't.

I despise the trend of sandwiching the stereo between the air vents. It's such a rip-off, and it's very un-German, even if the Tiguan is the lone VW that does this already. If VW wanted to move the touch screen up, they could have done so by positioning the vents under the radio ala MkI, MkII, and BMW. And the tiny side vents, positioned high, remind me of scrawny T-rex arms.

Maybe I'll be convinced otherwise when I see real pictures, but if this is the true dash design, then I'm already let down.

It's hard to see but it looks like the MQB chassis is getting rid of the bottom hinged accelerator pedal.
