What a beautiful machine you have. I wish this car was available in the USA. Great combination of 4 motion and TDI. Would work well here in the Northeast. Thanks for posting so many great photos.

I prefer that the front VW emblem remain chrome.....to POP!!!....but that's just my humble, experienced opinion....with wed wagons...

I love everything about it so far.....except I would have opted for the 6-speed manual (if available to order).... I'm sure that thing wasn't just sitting on the lot waiting for you to "pick" it like a puppy in the window.
You aren't gonna try to tackle the task of de-chroming the window trim are you?
BTW, I think the chrome front VW badge will give the wagon a more OEM look.....in my opinion.

I love the black grill. I wanted to do that on mine. But in my opinion, if you do the grill black then you should remove all other chrome parts and make it black too. Looks good though.

I opted NOT to de-chrome the rest of my wagon. I was too concerned about the window trim pieces. I figured that if I removed them, plasti-dipped them, then re-installed them, I was sure to cause excessive wind noise......SELF-INDUCED wind noise.

have not done any new mods.. only LED in the fog lights
im going to tint side window in the front soon.
and the winter is over aprox 1.may so then i need to lower it

Also your black side mirrors, my Passat is in white and I'm thinking about similar modifications - de-chroming, black roof, mirrors and maybe bonnet, ...
