Retrofits Done, Paint in Progress, Ready for Spring

[CEL is On]

Car is currently being painted and will be done next Friday - fresh Guards Red paint from Porsche.

Figured it would look like crap to have fresh paint and my faded headlights, so I decided to call around and get some pricing.

Wound up talking to JB at Black Flame Customs (found on the retrofit source website) and he was a pleasure to deal with. We exchanged a ton of emails about what would look best and what I wanted, and he delivered progress pictures throughout the couple days it took for the job. Their pricing was significantly better than their competitors and their quality fits the bill too. Big thanks to JB.

Anyway, I am still waiting on my glass lenses from ECS, but they were shipped today.

Here are some pics of the lights themselves, will have pics of output and on the car when paint is finished.

I still need to peel all of the sealant off

the only thing that bothers me is that he didnt fill in the gap of the IRIS shorud and the top of the reflector. other than that, they look good, Pics of the back?

Yeah - in the pic it looks like there is a big gap there, but as I sit here looking at them right now, they look perfect, as you can't even see the gap. When the glass lenses are on, it will look even better.

The backs are perfect. Will take pics and put up later.

Lenses came in.

After a bit of work getting all of the old sealant out, they are on. I still have to wipe off some of the extra sealant, just figured I'd post a pic with the new lenses.





Car should be ready Friday - should have pics on the car by then.
