    trans question

    i have a question on how to fix the box the shifter linkage sits in. the gear stick is loose so i took it apart and the pieces just arent there. any quick fixes

    what pieces are you talking about? the shifter box itself is secured by 4 nuts. the gear stick itself is loose? you found it's missing a bushing? quick fix would be going to the junkyard imo.

    I have quite a few extra bushings if you can identify which one.

    I also have a full 4-speed set if that's the route you want to go.

    It might just need an adjustment tho.
