I was wondering those who have a second or third vehicle, what it might be? I ask because of concern the R is big enough to handle 99% of the tasks I can currently do with my S4 Avant.

a hatch is a very versatile car. I had no issues going from my avant to the R.
it actually seems to have more rear seat legroom for my son than the S4.

my other car is a '75 triumph TR6. which can almost fit inside the R

Other than the R I have a 2007 Chevy 2500HD crew cab with duramax and some goodies, and a 2001 Audi A4 that is really a weekend/track project.

+1 on this. My DD is and will be a combination of the bus and my road bike. I expect the R to see more action in the winter months though for mountain trips though that my current '88 Toyota Supra can't handle.
