also... if anyone is wondering why i don't just run the VR6 Front knuckles... i just bought some BBS RS's 16x7/8 et33 and don't want to run the plus suspension.. i'm trying to keep the wheels in and tucked![]()

might be a lil confusing but if anyone can chime in i'd really appreciate it
Hey guys,
next category on my build is suspension and brakes and i'm not sure if this combo will work..
ok so i'm going to be ordering the 4-5 lug conversion hubs.. I Have the 10.1 front knuckles and was going to run the 11.3 brake set up, but after doing some searching i think i might be able to run the 12.3 Audi TT setup..
being that VR6 calipers/cariers bolt up to the 10.1 front knuckles, and the Audi TT caliper cariers bolt up to the MK3 VR6 front knuckles, technically the Audi TT caliper carriers should bolt up to the 10.1 front knuckles also? right?
being that i have a 96 B4 passat donor car, still haven't checked but i believe they come with the DE 11.3 Calipers...
if so, all i would really need is this kit from ECS right? (Audi TT 12.3 Rotors and Caliper Carriers)

I've heard of running the mk3 de caliper, but never the tt caliper. If it botls up then I don't see why not, you may need spacers though.
Is the tt caliper twin piston?. For the price I would save up for a used wilwood set up.

Actually im not sure... but i messed up on the title for this thread.. im going to be using the DE calipers, not the TT ones.
