I'm in Greensboro too... been needing a really cheap MK1 that needs a lot of work. I've got a decent 2.0l 16v engine in my MK2 that I want to throw into a MK1 so I can go 1.8t. My buddy Walt said he looked at this a couple days ago but I didn't ask him what he thought. I might get at you quick to check it out. PM me a number please.

Looks decent other that the surface rust on the roof/rear hatch. Oh...those seats
Engine looks pretty tidy though

OK guys..title has been applied for...should have new title in a couple weeks..had to go through the DMV hellhounds to get this thing titled..posting a surety bond and having the vehicle inspected by a certified DMV inspector. Actually pretty simple and pain free in the end. Car is certified to be free of liens and has never been wrecked or stolen. So it is ready for sale.
