The only thing I see is the main page info referring to last year's cruise. The 3 areas you can click on to get info are all current and correct.

Just trying to experiment. With no mid point I figured more time to meet and greet before the cruise could be a good thing.

The site says there will be a driver's meeting at 12:45, I assume it should say 11:45?

Not sure if I missed it... but is there an "official" meet-up point in Seaside?

Last year's cruise was so much fun, and me some pretty nice people.

worried about the abundance of people that will be on the beach and road for cinco de mayo though

Wow, I didn't know that summer started in May and that Cinco De Mayo was a popular travel holiday.

I bet all the kids who get 3 day weekends are stoked for this holiday.

Is there a midway point people can meet up if they get separated from their group? For those not going all the way to the cost, some people in the past have enjoyed driving to the midpoint to get a little cruise in, and then head back to town.

My coworker mentioned that there is a state park on 101 shortly after 53 meets it. I had intended to cruise out there again and go check it out, but I've been so consumed by searching for a house I haven't really had a chance to do anything.

Yeah that's what he was saying too. I was thinking of organizing a little photo shoot there. I'm sure I could round up a few photographer friends of mine to participate.

Can't wait! Just bought my first VW last week and hopefully she'll be all spruced up for the 5th. The drive to Seaside is always beautiful, it'll be even better to cruise it with like-minded people.

The best way to get to this park without going through Manzanita if youre traveling N on 101 is to turn left 2.7miles North of Hwy53 onto Necarney City Rd(Shell gas station). There are two parking lots in the day use area. West lot is the largest lot and the East has a ocean view but its smaller.

NOTE: Since its a State park technically you're supposed to pay a $5 fee for the day use area.
