That is why I went with Malone. I did not want to continue to play the waiting game.

Any company offering DPF delete software is a major risk of legal issues with the government.

There were a few light truck tuners who ran into that issue last year.

The only company I know of that offers DPF delete tunes is MaloneTuning. Malone is a Canadian company, so Mark really doesn't have to worry too much about US laws. However, for his customers it might be a different story.

Yeah they are doing my deletes at same time as I do not have emission testing due to diesel.

EDIT: Just spoke with Ryan @ APR, very close it seems. He's suggesting weeks pending any major issues.

I've been in contact with the sales department at APR and rumor has it that the tune should be available this weekend at Waterfest.

Considering that VW claims 140hp and 240ft lbs at the crank in stock form and the car outs down almost exactly that at the wheel is pretty awesome in my opinion.

Can't wait to get this today!

Look at any stock turbo car dyno vs sae mfr claimed power. 99% make more or equal to the wheels that the car company claims.

Those are pretty much on par with everyone else's stage 1 tunes.

I will be getting this tune very soon. As well as an apr tdi intake.

Looking forward to some feed back from guys that go with the APR tune. I'm still set on doing a DPF delete but won't quite rule this out yet. The APR tune hits about the same numbers as the Malone Stage II with DPF delete.

Also APR what are you doing about the DSG? Doesn't it limit the torque to well below your reflashed figures?

Most guys are putting down about 125-130whp with stock CR140 engines..

:EDIT: Unless perhaps those graphs are in crank hp?

What sells me is the gains with out dsg tunning required. But also plan on during a dpf delete once the stock one gives me issue or 60k miles comes up. I am at 53k now so not much longer.
Miss my mk5 gti,e28 535is, mk3 jetta, mk2 jetta coupe, mk1 rabbit gti:, 67 type one bug, will always be on the look out for another e28 or fb or fc rx7.

Ryan@APR can you address two questions.

-What are you plans for people who would like to do a DPF delete?
-How are you handling DSG torque limiter?

Are you seeing any fuel economy gains?

I have talked to 3 people at APR about the chance of a DPF delete. They didn't say yes or no but said it was highly unlikely it would be offered. Especially with what recently happened in the diesel truck world with DPF delete products.

I've been a little to heavy on the right petal to make any claims on mileage increases. Too fun at WOT, lol. I'll report back with that soon. Here are my current averages: http://www.fuelly.com/driver/amdisthebest/jetta
