Man, I love those wheels on your car. So incredibly clean. Have you thought about any other copper accents? That would be a serious PITA, but might also look incredible, IMO

I had a bunch of stuff under the hood copper plated on my GTI. The valve cover was a big hassle because it could not be clear coated due to the heat. I had to polish it a few times a month to keep it from discoloring. I don't intend on going that route with my wagon.

I suppose this thread will serve as a modification thread for my wagon. With that being said, I am looking forward to installing this as soon as I have some free time. (House remodelling is not for the faint of heart)

Definitely let us know how it goes. I am most interested in performance gains, MPG improvements and EGT lowering.

Yeah, unfortunately, we have emissions testing, and I like the idea of the Clean Diesel, so no DPF removal. The water/meth injection is also supposed to reduce EGTs, so I won't have to worry about that when I get Malone's Stage 2, which will raise the EGTs. First things first, no matter what I do, I must get my DSG tuned first, so, just put my name on Malone's wait list. Order of mods with actual dynos (not butt-dynos) before and after:

      1. DSG Tune
      2. Water/meth
      3. Malone Stage 2

I will post results of each dyno in the Mod thread. Don't hold your breath too much though, because this will not start until next Spring/Summer.

I parked there before noon and didn't move it until after 6 so I never saw your car. The black one right?

yup.. walked within probably 30' of you at one point. You and the cars you were with were parked near the street.. I was parked around the side of the building you were in front of.
