Not a lot to see right now... but I'm working on refinishing the Porsche wheels, selecting a TBE, and getting lined up for shaving the front bumper & painting some bits.
Slow and steady..

any plans to remove the lower grill?

In fact, I've been debating over what I should do with the Porsche wheels, color-wise.
Black is slick, but having the opportunity to powdercoat them something different - I'm open to opinions.
The Monzas are anthracite, so don't need two sets with the same color.

Porsche's to be sand-blasted tonight. Then, maybe, powder-coating by the end of the week.
Still trying to decide on a color..
Otherwise, picked up rubber mats for the 4-banger Evoque today.

Powdercoat next week.

So, think I decided on a dark bronze for the Porsche wheels.
Would like the same color as HREs.
But, my wheels will have a polished lip. Matte or gloss? Opinions?

Matte Gloss bronze ftw.
Also polished lips with different colored face![]()

They're 2-piece wheels, so the faces would be matte bronze and the lips polished. Unless I powder coated the lips, but then I would have to plate or paint bolts too. Uh

Porsche faces getting powdercoat this weekend. Hope to pick them up Monday.
Have to get some tires.. but everything should be finished up by the end of the month.![]()

iPhone poor quality pics.. but the wheels are finally coming together. Went with Nitto Neo Gen tires which are being mount and balanced by the end of the week. So hopefully, I'll snap a few this weekend with the wheels on. Then, its about dialing in the adapters.
After the wheels are finished up, looking to have the front bumper shaved/sprayed and put in slat upper/lower grilles. Fiance would like me to reduce the parts sitting around our place - so that's how that goes.
