    Oi,

    I am running stock mk4 jetta, 1.8t. WOuld this work? Fingers crossed. Also you mentioned something about software upgrade, would i need to invest and getting it up to date?

    Yes this would work. APR recommend upgraded DV and downpipe, but they are so conservative in the tuning i don't see any issues.

    The software was updated to the latest rev about a month ago. I doubt there will be any updates in a long time[years]. Many people never update after their first tune, no real need to unless it has issues.

    If your near by i'll give you a quick ride in my car so you can feel how smooth it builds boost.

    What year is you car, i need to double check engine code. aww and awp cover most mk4's but their are a few awd's.

    Only light i have on is the airbag. I honestly dont know if its related or not tho.

    I just read a bit into the airbag light. I think i just need to reset it and it should go away. I need to buy a usb extension for my vagcom first since my laptop **** the bed.

    i pulled this ecu today. The airbag light is still on so im going to assume it is not related to the apr chip.

    Ill buy it. Coming from RI. Buying a 3" exhaust off some guy, need this to make it worth while. Dont know if I should be concerned about the lack of back pressure or not

    I have a 3" catless dp, and 2.5" downpipe back. You'll loose some tq down low, but the top end is worth it.
