I have a 95 cabrio and I need to find my paint code since I have no idea which white I have. thanks.
I could be wrong, but you might want to check the trunk area where spare tire is. Look for white plate/sticker on or around the plate that covers the gas tank. It's an odd place, but thats where I found mine. Of course I have a 1999 MKIII 'Jetta', but I was told most VW's have this info in trunk area tho
You'll have to pull the spare tire cover ALL the way up to see it...yes its a PITA

There Are Three Types of People; Those Who Can Count and Those Who Can't.
What makes you sure its candy? the lord of googling's post said there was only arctic in 95... lol. Some jerk off must have tore the sticker off the trunk area at some point in the life of the car. I do have a jetta front so it has to be a color that was on jettas and cabrios.
According to what I can find, in 1995 The Cabriolet was only made in one white color.

Paint Codes For Volkswagen
Volkswagen has a few paint code locations within the trunk. Check under the trunk deck lid, inside the rear compartment, under the mat, or on the spare tire wheel well. A VW Color Code is typically 2,3 or 4 numbers long, but can also be a letter/number combination.
Best answer, call the dealership and ask them what white color codes were available to be 100% certain.
Another place to look is in the maintenance booklet, if you still have it. Our dealer apparently stuck a copy of that sticker in there, toward the front. I think there's a special spot for it there.
We still have the booklet from 1996. Sticker's still there (as well as in the spare tire well).
