    Question for you, i have the rns 315 and and looking to swap to the rcd 510 as i do not use the nav and would like the bigger screen, was eb=verything plug and play, does the 510 have a built in bt module?

    The BT module should be under the passenger seat for all of these, unless they've changed recently.

    since I had the bluetooth already, it was all plug and play except for the GPS antenna. I disconnected the RCD's compass "antenna" as well. You might need one of those to get the RCD going.

    Good price on this - You might have better luck on the MKV forum, its a really easy upgrade for the head unit in that car
