my b4 has trouble starting..

Okay, I am sure that you guys are starting to dislike me already.
But this is a forum, and for the questions that i have, you usually have answers.

My car doesn't start up normally.
It takes three or four times cranking it over for it to catch.
When it does catch, it dies out.
after about four more times of that, it will stay started, but I cannot drive it until it starts to warm up.
if I go to tap the gas pedal, it dies out.
after it warms up, it runs fine.
What in gods name is wrong?

Have you ever replaced the CTS?

these cars have problems starting up in the cold in the first place. check plugs/wires are in properly. check maf and its connection and make sure everything is clear in the air intake system.

Sounds like the MAF to me. You try unplugging it?

I have little knowledge with cars. What should it do if you unplug the mass air flow sensor?
