    Now there's a brilliant idea.

Also, just because you're low, sitting on the ground doesn't mean it looks great or proper. You need a good fitting set of wheels too.

90% of people buying air ride these days don't understand this concept.

I love it. Rides smooth and is easily adjustable. I daily my car and have zero complaints. Extremely easy install. If you can install coilovers, you can install this kit.

I bought the same kit, but i'm still working out kinks and getting new tires. How's the tread wear since you drive it daily? Reason I ask is I'm a little concerned with it being +/- 5 psi accuracy and pressure based systems aren't as accurate and I just went through my last set of tires in under 10k. I daily mine as well.

you should be able to get a really nice set up for under $3800. I would recommend getting two compressors and not manual. I have the manual set up now, I love how everything turned out, but the accuracy isn't great and running the lines to the gauges is a pita, which is why i have a leak Fortunately it is only coming from one ptc fitting behind my dash.

Whatever you buy, don't rush it and call bagriders, those guys are awesome

If you're getting custom ccw's and air ride with a budget of $3800? You're about $3000 short

    My recommendations:
    Airlift slam series fronts
    Airlift performance rears
3 or 5 gallon aluminum tank
e-level digital controller with vu4 manifold
    single air zenith ob2 compressor
    single 3/8" SMC water trap

    $3325 + tax/shipping from bagriders right now

If you want reasoning behind every decision let me know and i can do a full run through

What's the difference between "coils before wheels" and "air before wheels"? Maybe the blue 20th dude is rocking winter mode? Or maybe.....he is saving for wheels? Good job.

Maybe he is. I don't know. It could very well be all of the above. A huge drop is nothing special without a complete package and that picture perfectly illustrated what me and the other poster said... And I swear to god, you "kids" need to stop getting butt hurt when people post honest things rather than jumping in line to congratulate someone for something basic. And ftr, I'm no kid.

Never said my car was "special". It's a daily and I spend a lot of money between this and my other project which you can see in my garage in the one picture. Wheels aren't the biggest priority when you have multiple projects at the same time. That being said, I'm glad I didn't spend 2 grand on wheels and be at stock height before I bought air.

And sorry if you thought I was implying you specifically, as I wasn't, your picture just appeared at the right time. I mean, I was just using your photo as "stock", or example, as plenty of people do think that that look is "sick tight yo". I fully understand the deal, believe me, better that than the IY in that thread with the rota's that looks donked out.

My brother, myself, and a friend just bought Autopilot v2 system for our mk4's. I recommend that you go with firestone rear bags over air lift bags. The autopilot system is super easy to install! You can go much lower and higher with them. This is my setup.

    Management: Autopilot V2
Front bags: Air Lift slam series XL's
    Rear Bags: Firestone Sleeves
    Compressor: 444cc
    Lines: 3/8"
Tank: 5 gallon skinny (don't recommend it)
    1 Water trap
    1 Flow Control

    Total: $2331 shipped.
Got everything from bagriders except for the rear bags. Got rear bags off of AirAssisted.ca

Airlift performance rears Good sleeve bags, higher pressure required for lift due to skinnier nature, better for driving low without being at a ridiculously low pressure. Also very cheap if you need to replace one. Never rub on anything
3 or 5 gallon aluminum tank Aluminum because it won't rust. 5 gallon is a good size for many lifts without the compressor going on
e-level digital controller with vu4 manifold By far the best set it and forget it system. Great if anyone else is going to be driving the car, just unplug the controller with the preset height raised up and it cannot be lowered and even if one bag has a small leak in it it will repressurize automatically. The VU4 manifold is straight forward to pipe and wire in, makes for an easy clean install
single air zenith ob2 compressor By far the best compressor on the market these days, very very fast fill time, extremely reliable, best fill rate for the amperage draw on your charging system, runs super cool compared to the viairs so it won't wreck piston rings in the compressor
single 3/8" SMC water trap Recommended so that water doesn't get into your manifold
