adding features in central

You can't do it with VCDS for that year. If it even can be done you will need an old program called vds-pro. an old ass computer with a serial port and a interface that is a serial to obd2. You can search on youtube, there are some videos on how to do it. Also you will need to know which CCM you have because what you will essentually do is reflash the eeprom chip in the module and you will have to change some of the hex values. You can brick your CCM if you do it wrong so make sure you are confident in what yur doing before you do it. Also, I thought only VWs could have this done but I guess what matters is which CCM you have. I was succesfull in doing this to my 2002 GTI and love it! Especially because I can be walking up to my car and roll the windows down to let out the FL heat before I hop in and drive off. If you don't want to go through the trouble and risk involved, there is a programer module from ECStuning that will do this for you for like 60 bucks.

I was thinking VW which as far I know VCDS can't do it to the MK4 and B5 cars. VCDS can do it to MK5 cars I think. I have personally succesfully completed this mod on my mk4 GTI using VDS-PRO.

s looking at that link i am wondering their is a chart with all the windows up down and such then a number after.. d i just input that in to vag com? or before that if i wanna add say the window function do i just add the +61 to the number and ifso were do i get that number from? thanks for the help

well went into vag com and their was now cding what so ever.. thought maybe had a bad door sensor so i added the numbers in and boom my alarm works again interior lights work windows up/down work... i am stoked. thanks for the info.
