I am selling this for my buddy Shane (sledheavy) that recently did a JTI swap. He aquired it during the trade and will not be putting it to use. It is a brand new OEM part, no defects whatsoever, in primer, ready for paint and install. We would prefer local pickup due to the size but shipping can be arranged at your expense, tracking # included. Feel free to post and/or pm reasonable offers or shipping inquiries. Thanks for your time, Joe.
Looking to get $275 obo picked up in Tempe Arizona, PayPal accepted.. shipping's on you

If the statement "originality is dead" were true, vwvortex would be a series of Polaroid photographs and ham radio broadcasts. If the geriatrics thought VW's had limited potential, they'd probably spend their time acquiring parts from other manufactures and building entire cars from scratch. Remediation is the key element in creativity. Why should I care that about something I've seen 23,855,208, 120 times?

not trying to bash your thread but your price is over double what they go for

I did catch OEM's listing for it before posting, yes. However, at the time, they were out of stock. It was my assumption that this was retailing close to the $120 mark, but the availability of it was few and far between. This was a similar case when I contacted TMTuning.
I'm going off what I found archived in the forums. But I am more than willing to adjust the price to market standards, absolutely.
And no, that wasn't thread bashing, but it wasn't meant to be interpreted in a positive light either.

I have a number of reasons why I'm selling it. But as far as cost goes -like I said- I went primarily off archived material to reflect a suitable price.
The Euro GLI Rubstrip I'm selling has been bought and sold anywhere from $275 to 100 bucks -come to find out- it just depends on the market. When it's made available through distributors at $110, I'm more than happy to ball-park-it in that area. If I see that vwvortexer's have sold theirs for over $200 when it's not readily available for purchase, I'm not going to let it go for half the cost I know I could get it for.
The price flux is definitely something to keep in mind.
And if you're interested in knowing why I'm selling the material you traded me, it's to purchase fenders that weren't cut, and a front bumper cover with lower tabs intact.

I like how you edit this post. To bad I read it before you got to edit it. What you gave me wasn't exactly perfect too. Hazed gti headlights with no fogs. ****ty bulbs and not aligned. Black gti grille that was sprayed with spray paint. Rock chips everywhere but that's normal. The fenders were cut with a 300.00 snap on air saw that way it won't rub and cut into the tire. I don't recall the tabs on the lower bumber cover being broke off.
You should be happy with what you got. Sell the broke gli lip that I was going to get back from your. Just sell it for 100 and sell this rubstrip for 150 because oem plus charges 35 dollars to ship and it takes 4 weeks to get at your door step. Supply and demand. Trust me that's what I had to go throughwith oem plus. Are you really not happy with your end of the trade. Do your really feel ripped off?

I do, and I'll be more than happy to explain why through PM. This conversation is hardly relevant to the sale of a rub strip.
