The Turnpike is always open! I'm paid to say that.

    It is right off of Exit 266 - Lebanon-Lancaster - PA 72.

Right now the weather looks like it should hold out for the morning and early afternoon.

There should be 70 + swap people set up. I think that there were 80 in the swap and 365 in the show last year.

    See ya'll there.

Check out my mean green 63 rag top at the show. You can't miss it.

Anyone coming from the south, great news...

Main street in Manheim was just re-paved completely. Smooth sailing. That was probably one of THE WORST roads I've ever driven.

audi not being allowed to park with the show cars, they are just a higher dollar VW. I understand if they don't win anything but not being allowed to park with the rest off are group.

I agree with the Audi comment. I took my old Audi to the show last year and was told this year Audis were going to be allowed to park on the show field. I was surprised when I didn't see any

Swap meet is where it's at for this show. Show field left much to be desired.

Stopped by for a bit around 1 PM. Saw my old car there Show field definitely seemed to be lacking compared to prior years...both quantity and quality. Guess maybe the cloudy and chilly weather kept some people home. Saw a ton of cars leaving on my way there so I guess lots of people bailed out early too.

Gotta say thats most shows (VW or otherwise). A lot of the guys on the field have zero aspirations, they simply wanna have a spot where the action is. I don't knock em and i may start doing it myself. They bring more income to the show and fill out the field. Conversely, some of the hottest cars at many shows are in the parking lots when they should be on the show field. I would love to see more innovation, though, and less "me, too" builds showing.

yeah cold weather had to be killin attendance, it more like an oversized meet than a show- swap was mostly MK2/3 stuff skyhigh prices, and a few good deals. campbelltown had more of a show feel this year at dust off, but like I said may have just been the freezing cold weather... and I did good so thumbs up from me
