What was with the eyelid fascination on the mk5's? I swear 75% of them at the show had them.

The r32 with half the headlights covered in carbon wrap was disgusting. If you are reading this: you suck.

If you have to start your reply out with "I'm not bashing..." then you're bashing. Haha

Haha! Fair enough! That's how it is at a lot of shows. Ones that are worthy of showing, never do. I honestly didn't even look at any of the cars that showed. I rolled in with our club, parked, cleaned the car, drank some wine, ate some food, scanned through the swap meet and chatted with friends the whole time. It was great. Can't beat $5 to show either! With this show, they only give out specialty awards, so it wasn't a huge deal for people that didn't feel like showing. I had a great time. Chill show, chill people.

Pretty much sums it up for probably most of those who attended this show/gtg; a friend of mine never shows his cars because they're in a perpetial state of upgrade to him. Which is a damn shame, he usually gets board with them and sells them before they ever make it on a show field. Then the nect Tool who buys it wind trophies off his passion and eventually drives the car into the ground. Personally there were some decent cars there both in the show field and in the parking lot, thing to remember is cars that look like very little is done usually have a $hite ton of work done to them, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I love me some sleepers, to me those and the oem+ movement is where its at. Forget the childishness that goes on between the static vs bagged nonsense, the latest "hey look at me too" bro fad. The idea of modifying a car is to make it better than it was before not make it handle like crap and look like butt, however this works for some Everyone is entitled to opinions and thats what keeps the community fresh and ever changing and growing. But as a long as I can show up to a show and catch up with some old friends, make some new ones, do some bs'n, score some decent parts cheap, and mostly just kick back and chill then in the words of Ice Cube: "Ya Damn Straight It Was A Good Day"

Bust? Wrong. Hundreds of cars packed the field, if there was sun, I'm not sure where they would have parked. Swap was very good, good mix & hella good buys.

Next year... More sh!tters & scantily clad beer wenches.

I thought the show was great for the price. The swap meet had some good deals. The show section had some great cars. There was a super low mileage VR6 Corrado there that looked like it rolled off the show room floor. There was also a lot of good looking cars in the parking lot(including the one I showed up in). The price to show was cheaper than the price to spectate at some of the other shows.
I also think that the weather was a factor. Also more bathrooms.
The location was a good choice. I think they could have used the buildings and extended the show in that direction rather than just having it in a parking lot set up.

Overall I will be there next year and if the car gods be willing I will show.
    Because its cheap.

Because a lot of people have way nicer cameras and way better photo skills than me.

That being said...anyone happen to get some pictures of a silver 83' GTI that was at the show?
