Is this idle noise normal for a 2.0TFSI??

Hi,

Own the car for a few months now, its a 2006 MKV GTI (BWA Engine)
Sounds rather noisy to me, except for the high clicking which i think is normal.
Car is stock, no problems..

If I'm not mistaken thats the normal sound. Mine sounds the same way... I think its louder then my parents 2011 Jetta TDI

That's normal; it's just the sound of the engine

completely normal for a direct injection car that tick is just the injectors, since fuel pressure is much higher on direct injection you will get that noise from the injectors
