I honestly don't remember. The wheels are collecting dust in my attic. I bought them from BFI.

Weather is getting nicer and Ive been back at it with ma Cab. I recently got a B5 Passat and thats been keeping me busy. Trying to get it that was I want.

So the Cab hasnt started since last season. I figured it was the starter (I was using the original mk1 starter) And/or the battery. So I replaced both, but she still wont start. Noticed that the spark wasnt getting to the plugs. Turns out the timing belt was very loose so I think it jumped timing. A few nights ago, I retimed the enitre thing. Also replaced the rotor and cap. The cap had a huge gouge in it and there was a small amount of corosion. Still nothing..

I think the gas might be stale. Its been sitting for a while. Anyway, Im hopeing to get her running this weekend. (fingers crossed)

Heres a list of what I have in store for this season:

    1) New paint job. Same color. I am a big fan of Tornado Red
    2) New trans with taller 5th.
    3) Minor wire tuck (while I have the trans out)
    4) Finish deleting the coolant bubble
    5) Thermostat and water pump. I think its stuck closed

    till next time

Tried using a slide hammer to pull some of dents but it didnt work so well. Ended up popping them out from behind. Maybe thats why theres all those little holes on the back of the front crossbeam? hmmm.. Anyway it worked pretty good:

Im on my 3rd round of Bondo right now, but I dont have a any pictures yet. Its a ridiculous amount of work getting this thing to look good. I have considered getting a new front rad support, but I dont have the correct type of welder for it. Its gonna be tough getting this done for Memorial Day weekend. Im moving as fast as I can

Really wanna finish the front tonight. Bought this filler. Heard good things about it..

Here's how the front looks after 3 light coats of filler. I marked the low spots to hit again :

Finally got some primer on the front end. A few more spots to fill but 80% there..

Also started on the doors. Passenger side had a good amount of rust forming under the paint. So ill have to fill this a little too..
