    For Sale: 3.0 VR6 AAA Short Block – Built for Boost
    The motor was bored out to 83.5mm and uses forged JE Pistons (dome and skirt coated), rings and pins. Balanced crank, stock rods, ARP rod bolts. Compression ratio of 8.5:1.
    The machine work (teardown, hot tank, port and polish) was done by Gino at Evolution Racing Engines http://http://www.evolutionracingengines.com in Amityville, NY. Engine assembly was done by Forcefed Engineering http://www.fferacing.com in Deer Park, NY.
    With less than 2K miles on the motor, a valve broke off in the head and took out one of the pistons. The motor needs the damaged piston replaced. The piston can easily sourced from JE by referring to the number stamped on the piston. I was quoted a price of $458 for two pistons (the minimum that can be ordered from JE for custom applications), and rings.
    Includes:
    Oil pump
    Water pump
    ARP head studs
    MKIV Valve Cover
    VR6 Flywheel with ARP Bolts
