I have a seller who keeps insisting he is going to ship an item after ive paid him the amount through paypal.

he only answered one of my messages saying he will ship it the next day, its been four days and still no response.

Im gettin pissed because i need my car and he is laggin on me. If he doesnt send by a week, i want to open up a dispute claim.

has anyone been through this process before? how long does it typically take to resolve the dispute claims? really need this piece and waiting 5 days just to have it shipped is really getting on my nerves.

Sorry to hear about your luck. I went through the Paypal claim service and the whole thing took a couple of months. The guy still wouldn't have paid me back if it weren't for the simple mistake he made of offering to take the stuff back after a month of arguing. He had me ship it to a bogus location which is mail fraud then as I explained that to him he promptly returned my money. I must give a million thanks to the good people on Vortex who actually checked the address and told me it was a vacant lot in Seattle. I feel sorry for you and wish that I had better news for you but as long as both sides disagree on what happened they are very reluctant to come to a conclusion. Good luck with your claim.

he ended up shipping it like a week later. BUT

when it arrived it wasnt a very good condition. the valve side surface was beat up and scratched in many places, i filed down the scratches and felt it with a feeler guage and it was all within .001

i wish i machined it but i didnt want to go through the hassle. plus i didnt know if it the valves were any good. it ended up working but how long will it last? whho knows. i demanded a return or money for it and he gave me 70 back.
