Just had to put my dog(better to say that i was his dog) down today.
****ing cancer was eating him alive and we decided to put him down.
He was a 12 years old Blue Heeler that worked and played hard with me for all those years,we went thru some bad stuff together and i just hope that he forgives me for the times i was a mother ****er owner.
Sorry people but im just using this tread to vent a lil till the beer does its job.
Thanks for you time, hug you dog for me....trust me youll miss that one day.

    Never easy.

Just got back from the vet, too. Have to put BJ, our cat, down after putting Jasmine, his little cat buddy down last June. Brought him home to say our good-byes.

Sorry to hear... Had to put my dog down in October of 2010 and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Still miss her and think about her every day.

    Sorry to hear

Putting a dog down is never easy when you've become so attached over the years, but sometimes it's the best thing to do, especially when it's health related.

Sometimes there are no options and you have to do what's best for your friend.

Jasmine had an oral tumor and stopped eating. No real options with an oral tunor in a cat. She was at least 19.

B.J. had a large mass in his lung cavity and also had stopped really eating. Lost a lot of weight. He was at least 14.

Never thought we'd lose both cats 8 months apart. Thought we'd have B.J. several more years.

Went to the shelter on Tuesday to check out Whiskers, a young (6 mo.) black cat. Came home with Whiskers and Gypsy. Two black cats.

Gypsy is 2 years old and scared. She's under a bed upstairs.

Whiskers is sleeping on hys three-tier cat climber from Aruba Cat.
