check the cat, if it is clogged, that could be the reason. do you have original injectors? have you checked for vacuum leaks? these are the things i would look at first.

at about 4000 rpm I have major lag and occasional sputter any ideas as to what may cause this especially since red-line is 7000rpm... it has new o2 sensors and new oil change and drives fine except the lag between 3500 and 4000 rpm

I thought about injectors no cat clog and vaccuum leaks fixed alread wonderin if it could be the MAf

Make sure your tps not fry, causing a dead spot. If have bentley manual. Ohm it out. Also if you have original injectors, it time to upgrade them. You will thank yourself getting rid junk injectors.

yea the Throttle sensor relitivly cheap and injectors I wanst hte upgrade but dont have the cash for 034 injectors yet just bought my fiances wedding band... i feelits an injector spray pattern issue... not 100 percent but got a feeling... EFF U HITACHI!
