Stock Turbo Golf VI GTI World Record time?

Hi guys.

Apologies for starting a new thread on this, but I'm not getting any joy in the 'Official 1/4 mile time' thread.

I'm from Stealth Tuned in South Africa and we're trying to find out what the fastest 1/4 mile time is for a STOCK TURBO Golf VI GTI.

The reason I ask is because I piloted our Stealth Tuned DSG G6 GTI to a time of 13.005 @ 173km/h (107mph) on 26 February 2012. I then backed it up with a 13.08. This was in South Africa.

Really wanted to break into the 12's - but with the 40 degree Celsius heat and headwind, it was not to be.

Mods on the car:

Stealth Tuned Phase 3 software
Stealth Tuned Rohr Pipe
Stealth Tuned Turbo Outlet Pipe
Forge Motorsport Diverter Valve
Audi S3 intercooler
Devil's Own water-methanol injection
Flowtech 76mm divorced downpipe
Stealth Tuned Atom Stage 2 cold air intake system

Ran the car on 17" Hoosier semi's with 16" wheels at the back

Full interior - not stripped.

How does this compare to the times you have seen for stock turbo Golf VI GTIs?

It is a South African record, but I would appreciate some indication of whether anyone has gone quicker with a stock turbo anywhere else in the world.

Hi.

The Rohr pipe is a throttle body pipe.
Our 76mm divorced downpipe is similar to the ones available from APR, ATP etc..
It's just our own locally developed version.

Luckily it was an official event with MSA approved equipment - so it counts as part of FIA.

there is a mkv local to me that went like high 12s, stock turbo. less mods than that. REVO stg 2 or 2+, intake, exhaust, wheels, coilovers, forge cc, noise pipe delete.

your vid doesnt work either, and there are no time slips.

Great run I've pulled first time last year with apr stage 1, 100 octane, stock exhaust 19" street tires a 14.0 @ 101. stage 2 soon and some real tires. Then k04 and real #'s
