And we donated to Northwest Harvest the previous year.
We'd like some new options to help those locally in need.![]()

Hey everyone! Date for our annual Chuckanut Drive has been set, but we would like your input on charities. Hopefully we can get a list of LOCAL charities that you guys and gals wouldn't mind donating to. Last year we donated to PAWS twice, this year we want to switch our attention to others in need. Charity that most people agree on will be chosen.
Please keep them local and perhaps provide a web address so others can educate themselves on charity you wish to donate to.
Lets get this ball rolling!
Here are few pictures from prior years:
Thanks everyone for your participation and we look forward to seeing you on this drive!

I think it would be nice to support some form of a special needs program such as Corey's day on the farm.

Two great suggestions guys!
The first one seems to be a national charity?
The second one doesn't say how people can donate or what money would be used for.
In order to keep planning on schedule, we will keep this thread going until Tuesday, March 14th. If you have an opinion on 4 charities mentioned in this thread, or would like to add another one to the list, please do so before Tuesday rolls around.
We appreciate your input!

The charity I help with is called Good Wishes located in North Bend, WA. It's a great program that donates headwraps to cancer patients (Both adult and child). So far, we've donated over 7,000 hand made and hand selected silk headwraps, and retailing at $72 a peice, we need some donations
