And there is nothing screwy about what I posted. I don't want electronic intervention when I drive, simple as that. My GTI can get the ass out on command and makes it very entertaining to drive, but the non defeatable ESP kicks in and ruins all the fun.
Not to mention with higher HP applications, it comes into play with simple throttle usage.
I don't know if this would help or not but... Can we get any info from a 2013 gti and have that help figuring any of this out. From what I've heard they have the ability to fully disable traction control. Again I have no idea if this will help or not, just a thought.
I've read almost 80% of this thread and thus far I've come to the conclusion that I am still confused.
Is there a defeat available by unplugging the ABS fuse?
Has anyone successfully done this?
Are the side-effects simply lights on the dash, no abs, and no ESP?
