  1. 03-08-2012 05:25 PM #1
I have a 2000 golf 2.0 that has a bad cylinder and injector. How hard is it to fix these should I rebuild the engine or just get a new one? Need advice thanks!!!

Well I haven't bought the car yet and that's what they said is wrong with it...would that cause it to leak oil?

It is still drivable so I'm thinking of just trying to fix it up. They drive it to work daily. And if I switch it to a manual will that affect the engine or will I just need a transmission and some other things.

The car for 400?? Why even ask? U can 1) use it as a parts car and buy one in better shape(huge luxury to someone who's trying to do a big build) 2) part it out! U can get 400 just from the seats easily! Then part out the little things here and there and buy another one with money to spare for wheels or what not. Just my 2¢. Either way, I'd buy it if it's 400.
