Anybody in the VC area still dubbin? I noticed there was a thread similar to this way back in like 04-08 so I thought I'd start a fresh one and see if anyone is still going to the In n Out meet or anything? The In N Out meet is getting huge (with Hondas unfortunately) 100+ cars on thursday nights. I still see the occasional dub out and about but never really a good turn out for the vw scene over here. It would be awesome to start seeing some faces!

Are you talking about the meet on Thursdays at the In-N-Out in Moorpark? I have droved by a few times, but like you said, lots of imports and from what I saw, alot of subies and mini truck guys.

A friend of mine, Ryan, was asking about doing the Hat meet in Simi Valley. I think if we get a good response, we can totally set something up.

Unless you might be talking about the In-N-Out meet in Oxnard?

There are so many meets out there in any give day of the week. Kinda why the turnouts are so small.

I was talking about the Oxnard In N Out meet. It's getting pretty big all of the sudden and would be nice to have a dub line among the sea of Hondas. There's enough of us around the VC area to have a nice turnout..

I'm moving out west, so I'd be down when I get out there. Was originally going to Lancaster/Palmdale, but change happens.

Dunno. Go out for 10 days to try to find a place, then come back to this side of the country for 17 weeks of training, then officially back out to VC by September.

I might be down to meet in Oxnard...

There is also a Bi-Weekly meet up here in Santa Barbara... It's small (winter time), but it's something.

Right on, a few people have mentioned them. Are the meets still frequent? I mean I see the first and third tuesday but how many actually hold true to it? Would hate to drive 30 min for nothing lol

Besides a few random dead weeks we are steady with meets. At the minimum, there are usually 5 people who show up max we had was close to 20 or so. It's always a little slower in the winter for some reason.

We're pretty good at letting everyone know if there is a canceled meet, or if we move meet locations.

Next meet is this coming Tuesday.

I use to go to the in and out meet all the time along with two of my other VW buddy's we held it down for the VWs, but don't really go anymore, try hitting up SAMs club on Saturday nights a local VW club hangs out there, a somewhat good turn out like 15 to 20 VWs...

There's also a meet at the Porter Ranch Walmart/In n Out on Saturdays at 5. Mainly air cooled but they're all chill guys. I'm always out there with my Rado and some other waterpumpers roll through sometimes.

I just moved down here from the NorCal area. If there's anymore meets before the new year I'd love to check them out.
